“A Tale Of Two Ninja Kids: A Martial Arts Adventure Story” is an ideal book for children to teach the martial arts values of hard work, consistency and discipline, in the form of a fun adventure story for all the family to enjoy.
Here are a few questions that I have recently been asked about the book:
Why Did You Write This Ninja Book For Kids?
I know that when I was younger and my parents sent me to martial arts classes, I never fully realised the benefits until years later. When you are young it can be something you overlook and take for granted, and not realise the physical and mental strength that it helps to develop. This book highlights the values of martial arts to younger readers so that they are encouraged to stick with their practice and continue to develop their skills. It can even serve as inspiration to take up a martial art and enjoy both the practice and the benefits it brings.
I was also a keen reader as a child, and reading was greatly encouraged by my parents. I know that reading my favourite books always took me to more exciting and enticing worlds compared to my experiences with TV or movies. There is something about a book that allows you to fully immerse yourself in a world that also uses and develops the imagination, rather than the images just being fed to the mind through a screen. I’d love this book to rekindle a child’s love for reading, or be the spark that ignites the flame.
What Makes This Ninja Book Different To Other Children’s Books?
This ninja book relates to real martial arts and real life values, whilst still being a fast paced and fun adventure story. It’s also a book that adults enjoy, because it is not written in a childish way.
The book is woven full of messages about what it takes to develop skill and be successful in area of life. We learn through the early mentality of Martin that to improve in any area, we have to fall in love with the process and repeatedly work on our craft. We learn from Ninja Master Kuyasaki’s journey that there is also a place for rest and relaxation, and we also learn the power of appreciating the life you already have, while working towards whatever you desire.
The Tale Of Two Ninja Kids book is available on Amazon for Kindle worldwide, and in most countries as a paperback (hold on Canada – it’s coming soon!).
